Don't make plans

Two days Before leaving Seoul i get a mail from the ferry company with notice that the ferry from Korea to Japan is canceled because of typhoon. This was like a thunder from the clear sky. So what can I do except to take it easy and enjoy one more week in Korea if off course I will not find a submarine to get to Japan :)  No I didn't find a submarine although wasn't bad idea. Looking closer on the typhoon I saw a window at the south part of Korea in city of Busan where the ferry could have a possibility to get me on the other side and there is not so far a way so could work. With that in mind i took the bus from Seoul to Busan and after a while I realized that the bus was almost empty. Not so strange that it was empty, on the tv and everywhere were reports of typhoon from the south part but i am a hard nut so I will give a try. In Busan the weather was cloudy and raining a little bit so I rushed to the port terminal to find out if the ferries are not canceled. The te

Although this is a expensive high tech mega-pol with modern skyscrapers and luxury malls it hide some secrets The work I saw that many restaurants, cafe, pubs, shops have generous opening hours and some of them don't close at all. The prices where not so high compare to some cities i was before like Berlin, London, Stockholm but they never have open so late. So what is the secret of this success combining late open hours and cheap services and food? The Korean man by name John as he called him self have appeared from nowhere and seems that he waited to tell for somebody how the things look like from inside in Seoul and Korea, i think he did that to show his small protest. According him people in Korea is on third place in the world by spending most hours on the work, yeah hard working people and they don't get pay for overtime because if the boss is on the work then you should be there too no matter how long. This goes back in that old t

Vladivostok - Doghae The ferry not lived to my expectations, my bad. If you want to travel with ferries then you should never expect something special at least with this route. The ferry is unwieldy, noisy without wi-fi, rusty, heavy machinery on the deck and not so much things to do, besides a pub and a sauna which doesn't work. So don't imagine something cosy with this type of moving but you will get where you need so this is more important though it was quite expensive. Because of the waves the ferry was swinging and a lot of people get sea sick. But don't worry you can buy medicine at the information desk and after you get it everything should be just fine.  The ferry belongs to a Japan and if you need to charge your phone or laptop then is time to buy a outlet adapter otherwise you will be lost without a phone, this is about me :) But there is good news too, if you don't have any battery left on your phone and you need to send a message? Then

Trans Siberian Train

Moscow Train station Kazanskoje, crowded place with many scan doors. There is many metal detector in Moscow: in underground, on the commute train station, on regional train station, supermarkets, malls and many more places and for the first time I am wondering if it safe in Moscow. Why do one need so many? I don't see any sens with it, that because the security men any way don't check properly what you have in luggage or pockets I saw even how a girl with a big backpack even don't went thru control station, so what you need this for if the control system is not working? Many question few answers that is Russia. The coupe is quite old without air conditioning and without electric outlets. The people make comfortable their beds and stay there for most of the trip. The toilets are absolutely the most scary story on the train, very disgusting place.                                I bought a Tele2 sim card to use internet on the train but this was a bad choice beca

While Kiev is small dense town without any urbanistic vision and not so clean surfaces to enormous Moscow with great organised structure big open areas, clean streets and new fresh restored buildings. One thing they have in common is that they are very churchy looks fine but kind of boring feeling when you see so many churches just everywhere. After leaving Kiev towards Moscow i thought that Moscow should be similar in the most of aspects as Kiev. Well i was wrong so wrong, i was impressed and astonished how different they are exept churchy look :) The metro system is annoying primitive in Kiev, imagine your are first day in Kiev and have no cash and want to buy a ticket with a visacard and the worst thing is that you can't buy because there is no way to pay with a card at all. In the second you get some plastic coins for one use. I tried to buy three coins but i couldn't do this either, after asking some locals why is that, they told me that is no so many plastic coin
